Burger and Lobster - Soho, London
The foodie delights of Soho are worth braving the hoards of tourists, crawling from Oxford Street to M&M's World. With only three meals in a day and the long list of mouthwatering options, choosing just one can be a challenge. Walking through Soho can be traumatising for a hungry and indecisive food-lover.
Tried and Tested, Burger and Lobster never disappoints. The menu is simple: Burger, Lobster or Lobster Roll (and yes I have tried them all). I almost always go with the Lobster Roll; toasted buttery brioche, a zesty/creamy dressing and overflowing with succulent lobster flesh... excuse me while I go wipe the drool from my face.
Burger and Lobster have branches all over London. Each restaurant is walk-in only and the queue at their Soho location can be painfully long, however on weekends their Bread Street (St Pauls) and Farringdon Branches are a bit quieter. Whatever you do, do not give up! The reward for you patience may just be (gasp!) the best Lobster Roll in London.
